Nokia Chooses Chennai

It will be Nokia’s tenth mobile device manufacturing facility in the world.
Project: manufacturing facility for mobile devices
Location: Sipcot industrial estate in Sriperumbudur near Chennai
Cost: estimated to be $150m
Production: expected to commence in the first half of 2006
