BPL close to strategic partnership

BPL Mobile is in advanced stages of negotiations for a strategic partnership; will go the IPO way if the talks fail.
Consolidation in the industry is inevitable as the small / regional operators will find it increasingly difficult to survive against the deep pockets and presence of national operators.
