MBT implements Azure Interconnect for StarHub

Pune based Mahindra-British Telecom has implemented an interconnect system for StarHub, Singapore’s second-largest telecoms firm and mobile operator.

Provided by Azure Solutions, it will deliver interconnect billing for StarHub’s mobile services, improving flexibility of the settlement process and a reduction in operational costs. Azure incorporates rules-based rating capability and allows StarHub to analyze call data, bill more accurately and to verify interconnect traffic between itself and other network partners.

In a related development, another interconnect billing systems provider Telarix opened its Mumbai office recently.
