Mobile phones scoring on sports biz

After Astrology, Sports have set the cash registers ringing for the telcos. The report puts the number handsets supporting Java (language in which most of the games are available) at 95.5 million in 2003 up from 32 million in 2002.
“There are about 4 lakh games downloaded every month across all categories, vendors and operators. Sports is a very popular category and accounts for 30% of downloads.
