BarCampDelhi thoughts

Back after a packed day at the BarCampDelhi unconference. Met some great guys, learnt new things and got infected with young enthusiasm. Quite a few attendees had strong entrepreneurial spirit and were trying to create innovative product focused companies.
The topic of my presentation was Elements of Web 2.0 - Microcontent, Mobiles, Communities.
Sunil Goyal of Wirkle talked about their product LinkNSurf, a mobile social networking application. Anuj Khurana of Thumbspeed presented on contextual flow in the digital world. Gaurav Bhatnagar’s talk was full with insights and practical advice on “Bootstrapping a software startup in 7 difficult steps”. Amit Ranjan’s presentation on Uzanto’s MindCanvas was interesting. Among other presenters - Prashant Singh, Jon Boutelle and Nagendra Nag were good listening to.
Chose the occassion to launch a beta version of our new service MyToday. It is a public RSS aggregator providing latest news, views and content on a topic-based collection of feeds called Dailies. MyToday is simultaneously available on the web through an Ajax reader and on the mobile phone in WML. Checkout the mobile version at http://m.mytoday.com/ and let me know what do you think of it.

I felt awful missing your talk! And that too when you guys launched something cool! all the best with mytoday.com. It looks interesting. It definitely needs the drag-n-drop customization that has become standard with such systems!
