IMImobile to set up 3G lab in Mauritius

Hyderabad-based VAS technology provider IMImobile is setting up a 3G lab in Mauritius in partnership with a local operator Emtel. The lab, likely to be operational within this quarter, will help mobile operators to roll out 3G value-added services like video chat, video mail etc.

The company employs 225 people in India and is looking at ramping up the headcount to 500 by December 2007.

Speaking to Business Standard, Bibhu Kumar, VP marketing and sales:
