I purchased a Motorola phone from the Mobile store outlet at Matunga in Mumbai, and have very negative feedback for their service.

The sales guy persuaded my wife to go for a Motorola handset, stating that “If there is any problem for Motorola, we just replace the handset, whereas for other makes you need to get it repaired etc”.

The very same day, the handset started blanking out while searching for contacts, while trying to frame a picture in the camera, or even when trying to read a incoming SMS.

When we took back the phone to the store, the guy who sold us the piece was not there, and another guy refused to accept that anything was wrong.

When I asked them for my old phone that they took back as exchange, I was told that it was sent away. As I was travelling that day, I was unable to follow up with them for 4-5 days, but wife went back again twice to show the phone. all they would do is reset the phone and say, it’s OK now, it won’t happen again.

I am still trying to figure out how best to tackle them, any ideas? Would appreciate any help available. Thanks.
